Heritage Night is only a few short weeks after the Halloween Festival, so we have already kicked off planning and are seeking out volunteers to host a country table, provide a favorite food, contribute a recipe to our digital cookbook, or provide entertainment/demonstration on stage.

Printed half sheet flyers (see above) will be coming to you this week to distribute to your students.  We also ask that you talk to them about the evening, explain what it is like (for those who have never attended, you can see photos of past events in our website Photo Gallery), and let them know how they can be a part of it.  They can pick up a blank half poster board at the front office and decorate it to say “hello” in their native language.  They can also record a short video of themselves or their family sharing something about their cultural heritage that is special to them.  Those videos will be shared not only at the start of the performances during the evening, but also with their classmates during school lunches that day.
