As we get ready to head back to the classroom in just under two weeks, here are some important dates for you to be aware of to help get a great start to to the year:
- New Student Orientation: August 30th at 9:30 AM
- “Drop By and Say Hi” (Meet the Teachers): September 6th from 9:15 AM – 10:00 AM (PLEASE CARPOOL IF POSSIBLE!) This is a chance to say “hi” and get to know your new teacher before school begins.
- Kindergarten Orientation (Half-Day and Full-Day): September 7th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM; Parents will visit the classroom before meeting with our office team in the cafeteria. Please note that all Kindergarten children will go home with their parents at 11:00 AM on this day.
- First Day of School: September 7 for Grades 1 – 5
- Open House/Curriculum Night: September 19th for Grades K, 1, 2 and September 13 for Grades 3, 4, 5 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM; NOTE: Students in Grade 5 ONLY are invited to attend Open House to hear a presentation from Outdoor Ed with their families immediately following the Open House. This is an evening for parents to visit the school, meet the teachers and learn more about what to expect during the coming year.
