Welcome to the Cultural Arts / Curriculum Enrichment News for the Bancroft Community

When you visit this site, you will find who is visiting your child’s class, when, and what they will be doing in your child’s class.

The programs that come into Bancroft are requested by the teachers and made possible by the Bancroft PTO.

As we schedule the programs throughout the year we will post them on the website. So if you see that your child’s class does not have anything immediately, don’t worry, many programs are booked according to the curriculum.

We hope this will be informative to you all throughout the year!

11th: 2nd grade, The Aquarium: Penguins
TBD: 3rd grade, Paul Revere House
26th: 4^th grade, Mr. Kitchin, covering lunar/solar eclipses, phases of the moon, rotation/revolution

March
TBA: 2nd grade, The Addison Gallery from Phillips Academy is coming back for the Ancestor Project

April
6^th and 7^th: Kindergarten, Mrs. Weiss is coming back to do an art project with the kids
9th: 1st and 2^nd grade, author Jeff Nathan is coming in to work with the kids
TBA: 5^th grade: Rocks and minerals program

May
18th: 2^nd grade, Wing Masters where kids see real Native American birds
TBA: 3^rd grade, a Bee Keeper
