Many events allow us to fundraise in support of PTO initiatives – including academic enrichment, cultural arts programming, and teacher/staff discretionary spending – and some are strictly social events intended to bring people together for fun! We encourage your participation in as many events for which you have the time & energy.
Social & Appreciation
Bringing the Bancroft community together for fun!
LADIES' WINE TASTING
Enjoy a room of whites and blushes and a room of red as you journey through wines from the United States and abroad. Appetizers will also be served. All wine is donated by your hostesses and all proceeds go to benefit the Bancroft School.
LOWELL SPINNERS, DAY AT THE BALLPARK
FAMILY NIGHT BINGO
END OF YEAR PICNIC
COFFEES & LUNCHEONS
These activities encourage informal social interaction and allow us to give thanks when needed.
Academic & Cultural Enrichment
Funding teacher-approved opportunities to enhance the Bancroft learning environment.
The purpose of the program is to encourage students’ interest in math. Small prizes are given to all students who complete at least 5 pages of their packet.
Courses are taught by parents and some staff. Past offerings have included math enrichment, building with Legos, martial arts and other fun activities.
ONE MORE STORY, PLEASE
All participants receive a prize, and stories are available in the Bancroft Media Center.
ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITTEE & GREEN TEAM
CULTURAL ARTS PROGRAMS
The PTO provides funds for teachers to enhance their curriculum by providing unique cultural opportunities to entire grades.

TEAM DISCRETIONARY FUNDS
Raising money, all of which goes back to the Bancroft community.
BANCROFT BUCKS RAFFLE
Also, student sellers of winning tickets, sellers of $100 or more, and top sellers per grade also win prizes, and the highest selling classroom wins a Pizza Party! Thank you in advance for encouraging your child to sell Bancroft Bucks to your family and friends.
BANCROFT SPIRIT WEAR
With the help of approximately fifteen volunteers, the Book Fair is a fun week allowing students to browse and shop during their assigned class times and with their parents.
BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Even if you don’t have a family of runners, there are plenty of ways to participate. There will be a kids t-shirt design contest, and family sponsors and committee and race day volunteers are all needed.
Make three stops at private residences throughout Andover – first for appetizers and cocktails, next for a home-cooked dinner, and finally for dessert – all while supporting the PTO.
